University of Warwick
Most Warwick students move off campus after first year, and most of them move to Leamington. Both of our houses are here, about eight miles from the campus and fifty metres from the bus that goes to it.
Two miles from Leamington and about the same from campus, Warwick is quieter, older and smaller — and worth knowing about even if you end up living in Leamington.
8 miles away. The U1 runs from Warwick through Leamington to the campus. Warwick has its own station, though Leamington Spa is the faster one for London.

The University of Warwick is not in Warwick. It sits about three miles south of Coventry, which surprises people every year, and it means that living in the town of Warwick is a choice about the town rather than a way of being near the university.
It is a market town with a castle in the middle of it, a smaller centre than Leamington, and a quieter evening. Rent tends to be a little lower and the housing stock is older. If you want somewhere calm to work, it is a good place to live; if you want to be able to walk home from a night out, Leamington is the easier answer.
The U1 runs from Warwick through Leamington and on to the university, so the journey is straightforward but longer than from Leamington — you are boarding earlier on the same route. Budget for the extra time in a nine o'clock term.
Most students who look at both end up in Leamington, for the simple reason that the shops, the gyms and the social life are there and the bus is shorter. Warwick suits people who already know they want quiet. Both of our buildings are in Leamington, about two miles from Warwick, which for a lot of people turns out to be the right compromise: a town centre on your doorstep and the castle twenty minutes away when you want it.

Most Coventry students live in Coventry, and we will not pretend otherwise. Leamington suits a particular kind of Coventry student — and if you are one, it suits you very well.
Both are in Leamington Spa, a few minutes from the station and the campus bus.
